|Marlenha Fresh dew Body Butter, Marlenha Petal delicate eye serum*|
Let me introduce you to the beautiful Marlenha* skincare natural brand. I was sent these two products to try and review on my blog. Usually the first step I take when reviewing a product is getting more acquainted with the brand.
The first thing (and I can assure you not the last) that will impress you about this skincare brand is their website. It has such a lovely graphic and so much care for detail to appreciate. This same care and passion carries through to their product range.
Marlenha is a luxury handcrafted natural skincare brand made in Italy, a mix of natural plants extracts and old artisan techniques, enough to make you fall in love!
The body butter has a beautiful relaxing floral fragrance that stays on your skin for hours. It also has a light texture that moisturises your skin without leaving it greasy. It absorbs quickly and leaves such a lovely nourishing feeling on your skin, like if you just came out from a pampering session. This gorgeous body butter contains Icelandic lichen, red algae and shea butter to encourage cell renewal and regulates skin’s hydration.
The eye serum is a very delicate serum, with a milky consistency that is great for moisturising the area around your eyes without irritating it.
The serum also contains edelweiss stem cells, hyaluronic acid and borage oil, which is rich in omegas 3 and 6 that help with cells regeneration. Overall, it leaves the area around your eyes hydrated and brighter.
On a personal note, the only downside that I've noticed is the fragrance which is really lovely, however I don't feel particularly comfortable in using a serum with a fragrance in a delicate area like the eyes.
Generally If you are looking for a luxurious skincare brand, with a beautiful packaging and quality products, I definitely recommend Marlenha.
However, it is worth mentioning that Marlenha is an high budget brand, so not really cheap to buy unfortunately.
And you lovelies, where do you usually buy your skincare products? Do you have any favourites to suggest? Please leave a comment below and let me know what you think :)
