The spring evening make-up look 2014

As a beauty blogger and make-up artist, I love taking inspiration for some new make-up ideas in magazines. Turning magazine pages and getting lost in the beautiful looks and styles, really makes my heart pound with excitement.

So I have been looking at so many beautiful spring make-up look ideas on You Tube and in many beauty blogs and I have decided to take inspiration from a gorgeous photo I've found in the latest ELLE Magazine (June 2014.)  This is my own version this evening spring look, using my favourite products within the past few months. It's a super quick easy look, so give it a try!

Let's get started!

The Eyes: After priming my eyes, I used my fingers to apply the cute Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24 in Pink Gold  all over my eyelids. Then using a fluffy brush, I applied on top of the pink shade a warm bronze colour from The Body Shop (no.05) and blended the 2 shades together all over my eye right into the eye creases.
For a liner, I used the gorgeous eye pencil in Corona by Neve Cosmetics. It's super pigmented and very soft. It looks ever so beautiful on top on a warm brown shade or a bronze colour. This will make your eyes really pop out during your spring evenings out.
As a concealer I used the l'Oreal super blendable concealer in light/medium warm and the name says it all ladies. This is a very light textured concealer which is easy to blend, with a good coverage and not too heavy on the skin, just perfect for the warmer season.
Lastly for the eyes it's the Rimmel Scandaleyes Mascara. If you are looking for longer defined lashes you need to try this product!

The Face: After moisturising my face, I used the Rimmel Wake me up foundation with SPF 15 in True Ivory. Not many words need to be spoken for this beautiful foundation as it speaks for itself. It has a great coverage and lovely light texture that leaves you with a flawless base. For an extra dewy and glowing look, I mixed this foundation with the L'oreal Lumi magique primer , which together worked so perfectly!
A touch of NARS blush in Orgasm is a must if we talk about spring colours and this makes the whole make-up look so natural and soft.
Since it is a spring/summer evening look, I used the N.17 Instant Glow Shimmer brick which is so beautiful to wear especially with a bit of tan (which unfortunately isn't quite the case with me at the moment).

The Lips: Finally I tried to make my own version of the lips on the photo using the Bourjois Rouge edition is Beige Trench (no.02). I love everything about this lipstick, the elegant packaging, the charming colour, the creamy texture aaaaww. To make my lips a bit more glossy I added a touch of Vaseline and Voile' Les jeux sont faits.

That's it lovelies. This is my version of a spring evening make-up look, with warm bronze shades, silver lines and nude lips.
Let me know with a comment below if you like it and if you decide to make this look please tweet me your photos @IlaCoccia I would love to see them :)

  1. I love a bronze look as summer approaches. I have Orgasm in the multiple stick, may well invest in the powder blush too - it looks lovely on you. I'm also tempted by the Bourjois lipstick, such a fresh, natural looking shade...x
