Nature Perfect Brighten Up DIY Kit not so bright :/

NATURE PERFECT Brighten Up DIY Kit *
Most of you know already that I have a soft spot for natural beauty products, so when I heard about the possibility of reviewing a DIY natural Kit, I thought it was something that I really couldn't miss, plus if this helps to spread the word about a new natural beauty brand even better!
So I chose to try the Nature Perfect Brighten Up Kit because in the past few months I have been working long hours, not getting enough sleep and my skin is looking a bit dull and crying for help!

The Kit contains:
  • 100g Rosehip Seed Oil - It has great anti-ageing properties and is full with good vitamins;
  • 100ml Ylang Ylang floral water - Helps to balance the skin, regulating the secretion of oils in your skin. And also does anybody else love to say Ylang Ylang? I find it such a cute name!
  • 100g French Green Clay - It's the best cleansing and detoxing natural product you can find and that's why it is the basic ingredient of many many face masks;

  • 50g Pineapple fruit Powder - Really nutritious and full of vitamins;
  • 50g Raspberries Seeds - Can create a very gentle exfoliation without damaging the skin.

The price for the kit it's £18.80 and also comes with a little plastic spatula and a plastic bowl.

I am a very crafty person and anything that includes making, mixing and stirring really excites me so the idea of making my own face mask with natural products that I wasn't completely familiar with was just fantastic!

When I received the Nature Perfect Brighten Up Kit I have noticed that the branding wasn't really top notch, but it's something I could let pass if the product is good.
So I made my own clay mask, which felt a bit too harsh on my skin and not as cleansing as I was hoping.
I've kept using this kit, more the products individually like the Rosehip oil which I use before bed time or spraying the Ylang Ylang when I felt my skin is dry and needs an extra help, but the main result wasn't as good as I was expected.

Now I must be honest and say that as much as I enjoy using this kit (and as I said more the products individually in some cases), it is not something that I would purchase.

I find the idea in itself brilliant and using natural ingredients admirable, however I believe that it isn't quite as refined as it needs to be but with some improvements people will really enjoy this green brand.

And you guys? Have you ever tried the Nature Perfect Products? Let me know with a comment what's your favourite Face Mask and don't forget to follow The Cleanser Beauty Blog!

  2. I have one of their kits and it works very well for me, although the branding isn't as elegant as some I don't mind that, I like the homely look. Just goes to show how very different we all are :-)

    1. Hey Sarah, thanks for passing by!
      absolutely agree with you. Each person is different and what has worked for somebody might not work on somebody else :)

  3. I love the idea of this concept but don't think i'd pay for it either. Especially if it still needs some work. It's so cool that you got to try it out though!

  6. Hi Ila! When it comes to DIY, I typically just hit up my local health store for the bulk ingredients, but this looks much easier. Sad to hear it's not that great, but happy to hear about a new brand :)
