Skin emergency? Natural Remedy Dr.SPONGE at your service.

Dr.SPONGE Body Cleansing Sponge Original * and Dr.SPONGE Facial Cleansing Sponge Green Tea* PR Sample.
Hello everyone! I need to give you a big fat apology for having been away from this little blog for too long. I've been very veeery busy, juggling my full time job / new career and social life in the past few weeks and despite the fact I really enjoy the pressure and the excitement of having new projects to work on, I miss spending time reviewing products and sharing them with you!

Anyway as I said, it has been an eclectic and tiring time for me over the Christmas holidays, shopping, the huge amount of chocolate I've been consuming and the late nights, my skin has been feeling it all. Ohhhh dear!

Now I have been really lucky this year because under my Christmas tree I found the best natural remedy for my skin condition: Dr.SPONGE Body Cleansing Sponge Original * and Dr.SPONGE Facial Cleansing Sponge Green Tea*

What's Dr.SPONGE*? It's a "magical" skin cleansing sponge made from konjac fiber (an exotic plant that's very popular and used a lot in Asia.) and has amazing properties (it cleanses, tones and balances the PH of your skin) and some healthy extras additives such as green tea and bamboo charcoal.

Not only is Dr.SPONGE* a natural product, designed to improve your skin condition without adding any nasty chemicals to your face and body, it's also a fair-trade and cruelty-free skincare tool.

What does it do? As I mentioned before, Dr.SPONGE* is made of the Konjact plant fibers (over 90%!) that once they are wet become a sort of jelly consistency and extremely soft.

Because of this texture it feels very gentle when scrubbing and exfoliating your skin without the need of using any other products with it. It clears pores and helps to remove your make up and get rid of dry skin and cells to leave your skin soft and ready for moisturiser.

!!! Interesting fact: This sponge was originally created for children and babies so it's suitable for the most sensitive of skin types.

Dr.SPONGE Body Cleansing Sponge Original * and Dr.SPONGE Facial Cleansing Sponge Green Tea* PR Sample.
I tried the Dr.SPONGE Body Cleansing Sponge Original * and Dr.SPONGE Facial Cleansing Sponge Green Tea* and fell in love with both!
The body cleansing sponge original is fantastic for a gentle exfoliation of your body. Sometimes body scrubs can be quiet aggressive and leave your skin irritated but not this sponge!
The facial cleansing sponge Green Tea is infused with green tea powder and is perfect to protect your skin from the free radicals in the environment since green tea is full of antioxidants.

How does it work? Open the plastic packet containing your dry sponge, wet it with lukewarm water for few minutes until it becomes soft and it expands in size. Once your sponge is ready, massage your skin in circular motions for one minute. Then rinse the sponge clean and let it air dry.

You can feel the results straight away after using it. My skin felt so soft and smooth but not irritated at all because it's a very gentle exfoliation.
In the Dr.SPONGE website you can find Body and Facial sponges, all specific for your type of skin, which is great!

I must say this has been my main solution to my skin conditions over the past few weeks and it has been working perfectly for me.
Have you guys ever heard or used before Dr.SPONGE sponges?
Well I say, It's never too late for an extra present to treat yourself this winter ;)
