The Shea Butter Body Silk from NOUGAT London...thumbs up or thumbs down?

Nougat London Shea Butter Body Silk, Tuberose & Jasmine.

As many of you would know by now, only lately I've been more and more interested about natural and organic beauty products. So to get more into the swing of trying new brands, I have recently made my first order through cutECOsmetics, which is  a family run independent cosmetic business that concentrates in eco, organic and cruelty free beauty products.
While I was browsing on their website looking for some fair priced products to test, I found the NOUGAT London brand with a 50% discount on some of the travel essential..what a better way of trying a new body cream?

NOUGAT London is a UK based company where all the body and bath products are manufactured in England and none are tested on animals.
I've decided to try the Shea Butter Body Silk Tuberose & Jasmine, however there are also other 2 fragrances available.
The first impression was good: the lovely pinky packaging, the fresh and floral smell (I love Jasmine)..

In term of good impression..that is as far as it gets after checking the INCI  ( the International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients ) and finding out the use of parabens...but let me tell you more about this product: the Shea Butter Body Silk is a moisturiser with Shea and Cocoa butter with active ingredients as Aloe vera and White Tea. The product itself is nice and has got a lovely fresh floral fragrance which stays on all day, it's feels very light and smooth but also dryes out on the skin very very quickly. However It would have been nicer if it was 100% parabens free, a completely natural product. So, for this reason, for me it's a thumbs down for the NOUGAT London..

  1. CutEcocosmetics have some good stuff but not everything is natural, some products are just vegan. It's a shame about the paraben's because I love the sound of the scent and the packaging. x

  2. Hello Ana, thanks for your comment!
I know, I agree..it is a real shame cause I love the fragrance. Oh well I should have checked better really, I just gave it for granted that would have any parabans in it.
