Recent Make-up haul with a hint of green.

Sleek Make Up Blush in "Rose Gold" (926), INIKA Mineral Illuminisor,
Revlon Colour Burst Lip Butter in "Creme Brulee" (095).

I can't believe after 3 month from the start of my blog I have only written one blog post about make up (If you are interested you can have a read here) which is absolutely crazy considering the amount of make up I buy every month and how passionate I am about it!

Well this blog post will be a bit different because I will talk about some natural make up products and some not too natural ones.. and this is where I am at the moment with my cosmetics / beauty routine..I do love and try so use mostly green and natural products but sometimes I can't resist to close my eyes on the ingredients list of some beauty products and I just get them probably because at the end of the day I am just a beautyholic..oohh dear looks pretty scary when you have it there written down in black and white!

Let's get started with some of the make-up products I bought recently :)

Sleek Make Up Blush in Rose Gold (926)
Sleek Make Up Blush In "Rose Gold" (926)
I absolutely fell in love with this blush!
The colour is like a gold / pinky colour, very pigmented and leaves a nice shine of your cheeks. It feels very silky and it's quite long lasting too.
This is the typical blush that would look great to wear on a seaside holiday, when you have a bit of a tan and you are looking for something more natural with an extra glow.
When I first tried it on my hand it looked a bit metallic however once you blend it well on your face it looks very natural and shiny.
I can finally stop pinching my face now instead I can use this gorgeous blush :P

It's £7.99 for 8g of product but the package has got a nice little mirror which is always handy to have.

INIKA Mineral Illuminisor
INIKA Mineral Illuminisor Powder
This is a lovely loose mineral powder that gives your skin a very natural glow.
I got it because I was looking for something that would make my face look brighter but still with a natural finishing. This powder is great because it is non-comedogenic (like all the Inika Cosmetics) which means that it doesn't clog the pores of your skin or aggravate it so it's perfect for those who have sensitive skin.
It's a very fine powder and despite the fact it looks like a pale pink it actually doesn't have much pigment in it, just a few small glitter particles that give that shine you need.
Personally I was expecting something a bit more luminous from an Illuminisor Powder and considering the price (£14.39 for 3 g of product), I won't re-purchase this again but I will be happy to use it all.

Revlon Colour Burst Lip Butter in "Creme Brulee" (095)
Revlon Colour Burst Lip Butter in "Creme Brulee" (095)
I read and heard soooo much about the Revlon Colour Burst Lip Butter that I had to get one just so I could keep up with everyday social conversations..I don't regret it!
This is a very beautiful lipstick, it has a nice shiny finishing and feels very moist and smooth on your lips.
The "Creme Brule" shade (095) is such a lovely nude colour, it's just the perfect lip colour but better and looks fantastic with a more dramatic eyes make up.
I think this will be only one of a very long series of Revlon Colour burst lip butter I will buy.
Price wise it is fairly reasonable at £ 7.99  but Boots has an offer at the moment where you can get 2 for £10..pretty tempting!

And here you have the final result :) Let me know with a comment below what you think of these products, if you can suggest others and don't forget to show your love for The Cleanser Beauty Blog adding it to your Bloglovin favourites.
Lots of love,

Ila x

  2. I know what you mean about buying more make-up than you post about! I used to buy so much and not able to review it all haha. I'm on a spending ban now and its helped me get on top of everything but i want to shop a lot. I recently tried Revlon's lip butters for the first time and the formula is really lovely, I'm keen to pick up a winter shade once my spending ban ends xx

  11. Hi Ila, Just taken a look at this post to see which lip butter you bought! This shade looks amazing and I might just have to add it to my shopping list. The blusher looks a much nicer shade than the bright pink one I have too. Love your blog Ila :)
