Good things come in small packages: Ila's June Favourites

Have you ever heard the saying "Good things come in small packages"? It's my favourite saying
( eehhm guess why hey? ) and it's perfect for my June favourite list!
All the products are pocket size but have a great content and I can't wait to go through each one and tell you more about them!

Aveda Smooth Infusion Style-Prep Smoother
( £ 19.00 100 ml )

It's my everyday saviour! As I mentioned on my previous blog posts, I tend to cycle to work everyday and the moment when I take off my helmet, I'm always in a "panic mood" because my hair is all over the place.
The Aveda smooth infusion is fantastic to smooth my hair down and to keep it in place and also the pocket size makes it easy to carry in my bag.
With a unique formula made of plant infusion of organic aloe, maize and guar bean, it preps hair for styling, making tit more manageable.
It has a lovely flowery aroma (ingredients includes organic elements of bergamot, Bulgarian rose and Australian sandalwood) and it's great to use even on towel dried or damp hair.
( £ 10.55 30ml )

After reading numerous reviews about this product, I have finally decided to try and I am very happy I did it.
The Caudalie Beauty Elixir is a plant-based water, inspired by the "Elixir of Youth" used by Queen Isabelle of Hungary and helps to tighten your faces pores and give a smooth radiance to your complexion.
I like to use it after putting make up on, since it helps the make up set better and helps revitalize dull looking skin.
I personally don't consider this product a " must have " but it's a real treat for the skin with his floral and fresh fragrance.
This special beauty elixir is parabens, phenoxyethanol and mineral oil free, and  is not tested on animals.

REN Satin Perfection BB Cream
( £ 37.45 50ml )

I found this BB Cream in the June Amarya Beauty Box and it has been love at first sight.
This BB Cream might look a bit "orangy" but has a colour adaptive technology so it adapts to your skin colour and it's just fantastic! It has a light texture but a very good coverage, leaving my face hydrated and flawless.
Last but not least it has a SPF 15, so it protects the skin against UV damage.
I like to apply the Ren BB Cream with a brush but to be honest it is so smooth that it can easily be applied with your hands and smoothed on your face like a normal moisturiser.
I will definitely purchase the full size of this product,  no doubt at all.

Pai Echium & Argan gentle eye cream
( £ 24.00 10ml )

Some of you might know already my obsession for eye creams and this is because I have very sensitive eyes and every time I have tried a new product, I found it very irritating for my skin and used to makes my eyes very dry..this was until I found Pai Echium & Argan gentle eye cream. This an amazing product with Omega 3 & 6 which helps to maintain the skin around the eyes area hydrated and smooth. The nice thing about this cream is not only that it helps improve the appearance of fine lines ( thanks to the Gamma Linolenic Acid and the Steridonic Acid in it) but it also has a soothing action that relieves the eyes from itchiness and dryness. This precious one is now part of my everyday bed time routine and it will be for long time.

Lily Lolo "Love Affair" Lipstick
( £ 7.99 )

This lipstick is a real "love affair". Creamy, hydrating natural lipstick with Vitamin E and rosemary extract, is a beautiful shade for the spring / summer and leaves your lips shimmering and moist.
It's the perfect lipstick if you are looking to try a natural product that gives a stunning natural glow to your lips and protect them at the same time.

Will you guys include any of these products to your future favourites list? Which one have you tried already or are you willing to try? Let me know with a comment below :)

  1. What a great collection of products, Ila! Okay, so... I agree with you about the Caudalie Beauty Elixir. Not a "must have" but it's still nice to use and left my skin with a healthy glow. Would love to see how you use the Aveda style-prep smoother to style your hair. Wrinkling my nose at the REN BB cream because it's TOO expensive! Of course I really want to try Pai now. And I'm always a fan of hydrating lipsticks :)

    1. Hello hello!! thank you, glad you liked it :) I usually used the Aveda style-prep to smooth and straight my hair down because I don't really use the straightener before jumping on the bike and my hair are all over the place once I get to work :P
REN BB cream it is really a treat..i love how it works on my skin, because I got more an olive skin, but I do agree about the price.
Pai is my new discovery and I love it!! i love the products, the ingredients, the feel that they leave on my skin and the whole brand itself it's fantastic..definitely a win win :D
Thanks for passing by beautiful xx

  13. Hi, I'm here from #bbunch bloghop (followed). I've actually followed you on twitter for a while now, but never got around to read your posts. Most of the products you review on your blog are something I own myself or would like to try. I did a post on Caudalie Beauty Elixir about a week ago. Now it sounds even better because it's used by a Queen!!! :)

  18. Never knew Ren has a bb cream, too! I hope I could find samples or testers from local stores. I think my skin is already on the orangey side so anything more orangish might really make me look like an orange.
