Review on Revlon super lustrous lipstick in Red Lacquer

Well probably we all know by now that red tones are the perfect colours for this time of year. I'm not sure about you guys, but for me when I think about buying a red lipstick, in my head pops up straight away the image or a rich, luxurious matt red lipstick.

These types of lipsticks to me are beautiful. They are the ones that you can' t stop staring at when somebody is wearing them; however it is also one of those lipsticks that needs at least "45 steps" to follow until it can be perfect (scrub your lips, moisturise your lips, use a brush, use powder, use the brush again, use concealer around your lips), which is not convenient if you are in hurry.

There is another category of reds though, which are much easier, straight forward and less complicated to apply - Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Red Lacquer (n.029.)

It's a vibrant, cheerful red colour lipstick, with a little bit of coral and orange shades in it, just enough to make it light and easy to wear during daytime. It has a lovely creamy, light texture that doesn't dry on your lips and leaves them luminous and shiny for hours.

This is such a great alternative for those who want to wear a bit of colour during the day but don't want to go for the full on red wine velvety lipstick, or for those of you that usually don't wear much lipstick at all and want to experiment with something new :)
