Hello everyone!
As a YouTube lover, I spent a fair (big!) amount of my time watching videos, mostly beauty related that often give me good tips, or teach me something new (I am obsessed with make-up tutorials.)
So I thought, why not creating a "Video of the week" section on my blog, where every week I will post I video I have enjoyed watching so we can share ideas and opinions on it?
I hope this can be a fun and light few minutes which would work as a little distraction from beauty products reviews (tons to come so stay tuned!)
For this weeks video, I am going to start with a big "boom"! It's the latest video from the gorgeous Lisa Eldridge make up tutorial "Easy, 3 Minute Smokey Eye Tutorial".
I love Lisa's videos, there are so many tips to learn and she has such a lovely relaxed way of explaining what she is doing, what she is using and why, which makes me feel comfortable and confident straight away, plus she is a fantastic make-up artist so there is lots to learn from her!
I found this make-up tutorial so easy and natural that you just can't go wrong with :) I love using brown / chocolaty shades for smokey eyes, it makes your look much softer especially at this time of the year where darker shades are much more popular.
The Bobbi Brown Long-Wear cream shadow stick in Bittersweet shade is on my wish list now, it looks so creamy and easy to blend, absolutely fantastic!
Also the Bourjois blusher in Cendre De Roses Brune #48 works perfectly for this look. I haven't tried this blusher yet but I will probably give it a go :)
What about you guys? Would you use this simple smokey eyes for an everyday look?
Leave a comment below and let me know what you think and if you follow the beautiful Lisa on YouTube.
