As an Italian living in Rome for most of my life, I have learnt that the start of the summer season also means the start of the Carrot season..yes carrots!
Why get stuck with trying to find the best tanning products to use and end up having a bad fake orange / brown tan for the seaside, when you can have a more natural tan just eating carrots?
Carrots are really an amazing vegetable with great properties.
They are rich in carotene which the liver transforms into Vitamin A - or retinol - for our body and most importantly thebeta-carotene are also antioxidant compounds that help to prevent lung, mouth and stomach cancer.

Skin wise, beta-carotene also helps improve your skin health and colour and gives it a fantastic natural glow whilst helping to improve wrinkles and signs of ageing. Brilliant!
This is why as soon as I saw the Yes To Carrots Hydrating Shower Gel I wanted to try it straight away and I am happy to say I have found my new favourite shower gel!

What I have to mention first is the fragrance. This shower gel smells amazing! Seriously it smells fresh, it smells of summer, it's like a mild lovely natural cocktail of fruit and flowers. You get hints of carrots in it and hints of melon and it stays on you for ages..love it!
Apart from the gorgeous smell, this is a very nourishing shower gel and leaves your skin feeling very hydrating, soft and clean throughout the day.
It's a 99.8% natural product and it's Paraben Free and it's for Normal to Dry Skin.
At the moment you can find it on offer on Amazon Uk for £ 6.99 for 500 ml of product.
The price isn't the cheapest but I like to pay for better quality, more natural ingredients, especially if it's part of my daily routine.

I've had several negative experiences with Yes To products, but this sounds lovely. Don't think I've seen it in Canada though xo

This sounds lovely, I haven't tried this brand before but I often see it in TK Maxx. I love the sound of the scent. Xx

ReplyDeleteI adore Yes To products, i've been using them since i first started making the switch to natural and organic products. Check out the cucumber, tomato and blueberry ranges too which are also amazing, i believe they even have a grapefruit range now too. Check out sites like naturisimo etc as they often have great deals on Yes To, the actual Yes To site is good too. The only products i would suggest to avoid are the face wipes, especially the cucumber ones, they damaged the skin around my eyes and a lot of other people have experienced the same thing so it worth checking things like that.

i havent heard of this product but the "Paraben Free" feature of it is really nice. i just recently found out about what parabens are so im more conscious now : D

DeleteSame here, I have started few months ago to understand properly and keep an eye open on the ingredients and still I wouldn't consider myself a really "green beauty" but for sure my skincare routine has definitely changed in the past months and I feel much better :)

ahahah I know carrot fragrance can sounds weird but actually is a very sweet lovely fragrance plus there is a hint of melon in it which makes this shower gel smelling very fresh and summery :)
